Message from the Chairman & CEO

It is my great honor to welcome you to the Law & Justice Foundation (LJF), a non-religious, non-political, and non-governmental human rights organization established in 2011 and proudly registered in Bangladesh under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Registration No. S-11327).

Since its inception, LJF has remained steadfast in its mission to uphold democratic values, protect human dignity, and promote peace across Bangladesh and beyond. Our commitment is rooted in serving the marginalized, the downtrodden, and economically disadvantaged communities—ensuring that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to justice and is empowered to exercise their rights as guaranteed by the Constitution of Bangladesh.

Through free legal advice, advocacy, research, and civic education, we strive to raise awareness of human and legal rights among the general public, with a particular focus on underprivileged groups. Our work extends to monitoring human rights violations, following up on cases of injustice, and providing legal aid to those most in need. Additionally, we are dedicated to addressing critical social issues such as the dowry system, child marriage, natural disaster response, and socio-economic development through awareness campaigns and community engagement.

We are proud to hold Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2022—a recognition of our ongoing efforts to make meaningful contributions to global human rights initiatives.

As we continue this noble journey, I invite individuals, organizations, and partners who share our vision to join hands with us. Together, we can create a just, equitable, and compassionate society where every voice is heard, and every right is respected.

With sincere regards,

All Cordial co-operations, contributions, suggestions and guidelines to implements and expand it’s activities is highly expected.
