LJF is guided by a skilled Board of Directors, ensuring strategic direction, accountability, and mission alignment with transparency and integrity.

 

Advisory & Oversight:

A council of senior jurists and experts offers guidance, ensuring informed decisions on complex legal, policy, and strategic matters.

 

Secretariat

A professional team led by an Executive Director manages day-to-day operations through five divisions:

  • Research Division – human rights monitoring, documentation, legislative analysis.
  • Legal Services Division – pro bono coordination, legal aid clinics, referral systems.
  • Capacity Development Division – training for lawyers, paralegals, youth, HRDs, and community leaders.
  • Communication & Information Division – public legal education, media, publications, and digital outreach.
  • Program Development Division – design, grants, MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability & learning).

Volunteer Network
A nationwide network of volunteer lawyers, law students, and paralegals supports clinics, legal literacy drives, and community mediation initiatives.
